Magic, Flash and Bobby Lee Nidever

Magic is pending adoption at this time.

Rally for the Rescues Magic

Magic is an 8 YO QH gelding. He was born at Volunteer Equine Advocates after his mother was seized due to extreme neglect. He has never known cruelty and hasn’t had to experience a hungry belly but has lived just as a pasture pet before returning to VEA due to his owners having to down size their herd. As a quarter horse he has so much potential and he deserves the chance to thrive. Rally for the Rescues MagicWith the help of his trainer, Magic will learn the good life of work and partnership as a steady mount.

Rally for the Rescues-Flash

Flash is a 5 YO TWH gelding who was born at Volunteer Equine Advocates.  His mother was rescued from extreme neglect coming in as a BSC 1.  Luckily his mother made it and delivered a healthy baby. Flash was adopted and became a part of a herd. While in his new herd, he was very well taken care of but did not have any training done besides basic ground work. Unfortunately, circumstances required Flash to come back into VEA and they are so excited to give this boy a chance for second beginnings.

Bobby Lee (aka Rikki Bobby in the rodeo industry!) is 21 years old, from Reno, Nevada, and has been training horses for 8 years now. She has managed Equine Stables and Ranches in the Middle TN area keeping up with not only the 40+ head of horses but also each one’s specifics need and care, giving her the knowledge and experience to pursue her own Equine Facility which Bobby Lee ventured out just 1 year ago with her 17 year old sister Katie to get their own Equine Facility titled “Shiloh Equestrian Center”in Franklin, TN.
Bobby Lee has worked with AQHA, APHA, and OTTB at professional facilities where she learned to work cattle, jump/hunter jumper, barrel race, and pole bend to prepare horses for the professional level in each discipline. She personally competed in Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Working Ranch, Ranch Rodeo, Jumper, Horsemanship, Showmanship, and Team Penning. With her experience, Bobby Lee is able to help a horse find their career. Struggling with depression and anxiety years ago, Christ really revealed strength and purpose to her through rescue horses. That is where she chose to dedicate her life to Equine Ministry titled “Ride For The Cross Ministries” where they rehabilitate horses (of all breeds, sizes, cases), find a career for them, and then find their forever home along with healing people by using their own stories. Bobby Lee is now a proud owner of many rescues, however she and her blind AQHA 9 yr old mare “Darlin” plan to show the world that rescues, no matter the case, can conquer anything! With her herd of misfits, she intends to prove to people that rescues still have a fighting chance at a career and help heal people along the way with their AMAZING stories we each carry! Bobby Lee is proud to represent Shiloh Equestrian Center & Ride For The Cross Ministries!
